If you love art you’ll jump at the opportunity to provide feedback on a new plan that will beautify the City over the next five years.

91视频 Mayor Jerry Clune said the draft Public Art Masterplan 2025-2030 will guide the City’s ongoing commitment to the enrichment of public spaces through artistic activities.

“The draft plan takes into account the care and maintenance of the City’s existing public art collection along with opportunities for new installations,” he said.

“The framework provides rigour around how public art submissions will be assessed, new works procured, aged works decommissioned, and defines the key curatorial themes, key narratives and concepts public art should explore.

“The plan also outlines how the City will continue to deliver important community and public art programs, while also creating unique tourism opportunities through larger-scale works.

“I’d like to thank the Geraldton Regional Arts Advisory Group whose specialised advice and professional knowledge was essential to the development of the draft plan,” finished Mayor Clune.
